Normal view The view through the visor
|
On the left is a typical view from the front passenger-seat of a car where you can see objects on the roadside and on-coming vehicles moving toward you. In the distance these objects move very slowly presenting visual information that the brain can easily process. As these objects move nearer they speed up and, for some people, this constant stream of fast moving objects becomes a challenge for the brain to process because too much information is being presented causing overload. This invariably leads to headaches, nausea and a general feeling of being unwell.
On the right is an example of the view through the visor where you can only see the slow moving objects in the distance. As these objects move nearer they disappear from view before they speed up so the challenge to the brain is instantly removed. For a passenger in a rear seat it is possible to see the road ahead between the front seats, and therefore, gather the same effect. For a passenger on a coach or bus where the front view may be limited, the visor is effective in removing a significant amount of the fast moving information presented throughout the journey. The visor will fit easily over spectacles.
